The Rug Centrifuge POWER WS-4500-11 is our largest and most powerful centrifuge specifically designed for high-volume rug washing facilities that need quick and thorough drying systems. With a maximum rug width of 14 feet 9 inches and a diameter of 19.6 inches, this machine is able to handle just about every rug to come through your facility. The powerful inverter-controlled 11kW engine means this spinner can extract and handle wet rugs as heavy as 600 pounds.
This Centrifuge is equipped with four air cushions connected to shock absorbers which eliminates heavy vibration during operation. The entire Centrifuge body, inner drum, and safety covers are made of stainless steel INOX. The frame of the machine, and the door, are hit-dip galvanized. Protima is the only company in the world using seamless stainless steel drums which are electronically balanced to guarantee incredibly quiet, vibration-free, and reliable operation. This model was designed to reduce the number of welded parts, and with parts that are easy to unscrew and change so that expensive repairs of entire components can be avoided as with some competitor models.
Safety is always a focus of Protima construction. The Centrifuge will not start with an open door, and cannot be opened during operation. It is operated by a control box unit to be mounted near the machine, with simple and clearly labeled main switch, work time potentiometer, start/stop buttons, and reverse gear button.
